[Bug 1175897] New: NFS shares fail to mount when connecting by WiFi
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1175897 Bug ID: 1175897 Summary: NFS shares fail to mount when connecting by WiFi Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 15.2 Hardware: Other OS: openSUSE Leap 15.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem Assignee: screening-team-bugs@suse.de Reporter: jcarricksmith@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 841180 --> http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=841180&action=edit Archive file of diagnostic information When starting my laptop the nfs shares fail to mount if the active network is wlan0. Works OK on eth0, used to work on openSUSE 15.1. I can mount the nfs shares after a desktop session is running using either: sudo mount /mnt/srv/john or sudo systemctl start mnt-srv-john.mount The shares were set up in the same way as on 15.1. The attached archive (os152_a.tar.gz) includes the output from: a)journalctl -b0 (edited) in file jrnlpart b)output from systemctl status mnt-srv-john.mount in file systemctlstatus c)output from systemctl show in file systemctlshow b)fstab e)output from uname -a in file unamedata It is a real pain but I have left it at severity NORMAL at present as I have a work-around. I will be most grateful if it could be fixed. The openSUSE 15.2 is a fresh install into a partition formatted by Yast at installation but /home/jcs was carried forward from 15.1. I enabled the service and it now appears to be working. Please advise if this service is supposed to be enabled/disabled by the system and not require user action. I had a problem if the network disappeared during a session during testing (it seemed that the share was not unmounted) but as this is a most infrequent event I can live with that.
