[Bug 540578] New: "Save Link as" dialog in Konqueror provides empty default filename
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=540578 Summary: "Save Link as" dialog in Konqueror provides empty default filename Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Milestone 7 Platform: All OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: shift@cmpd2.phys.msu.su QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; ru; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3 Seems like this bug still occurs: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=175748 As of OpenSuSE 11.1 with KDE4.3, some of installations have it, some dont. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a page with download links. For example -- with rpm packages. 2. Rightclick on a link (or click it), and choose to download it 3. Watch "Save as.." dialog to appear. Actual Results: Appeared "Save As.." dialog has empty default filename (i.e ".rpm") Expected Results: The default filename should be the same as on the server (i.e. "something-1.2-i586.rpm"). For dynamic links (like "download.php?name=something") -- as proposed in HTTP headers (see default behavior of Firefox on sites like SourceForge) Althogh, it is a "cosmetic" problem, but very annoying one, that why i mark it as a "normal bug". I personally suffer from it since KDE 4.0 !!! -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
