While installing more complex disk configurations on ppc64(le) systems, yast reports an error:
Actually, more tests, incl regular minimalX install (https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/2875714) fail But failures (also RAID) are limited to PPC64 All Litle-Endian jobs passed (so I'd say an endianness issue) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

BTW the test is failing because /sbin/netconfig does not exist, and according to my fix, it should call /usr/sbin/netconfig only if it exists, so in case it was a path problem then the call would be ommited and that is not the case, so I was wondering what could be the cause and found in the _packages.root that the yast2-ntp-client shipped with the DVD is yast2-ntp-client-4.4.3
_packages.root:yast2-ntp-client [4.4.3-1.2.noarch] < skelcd-control-openSUSE
So, although yast2-ntp-client 4.5.1 is installed in the target system, the code run during the installation is still the old one.
That implies that installation-images has not been rebuilt - which is true:
osc r openSUSE:Factory:PowerPC -r standard -a ppc64 installation-images:openSUSE -v standard ppc64 unresolvable: nothing provides yast2-schema-default nothing provides glibc < 2.36 needed by valgrind (got version 2.36-8.1)
Which in turn translates into multiple issues: * nothing provides yast2-schema-default
osc r openSUSE:Factory:PowerPC -r standard -a ppc64 -v yast2-schema-default standard ppc64 unresolvable: nothing provides SUSEConnect >= 0.2.37 needed by yast2-registration nothing provides rubygem(ruby:2.7.0:suse-connect) >= 0.2.37 needed by yast2-registration
=> suseconnect-ng fails to build (-buildmode=c-shared not supported on linux/ppc64) * nothing provides glibc < 2.36 needed by valgrind
osc r openSUSE:Factory:PowerPC -r standard -a ppc64 -v valgrind standard ppc64 valgrind failed

osc r openSUSE:Factory:PowerPC installation-images -a ppc64 -r standard -v standard ppc64 installation-images:MicroOS unresolvable: nothing provides MicroOS-release nothing provides yast2-schema-micro nothing provides glibc < 2.36 needed by valgrind (got version 2.36-9.1) (there is no MicroOS on ppc64 - i-i could declare that flavor excluded (keep

osc r openSUSE:Factory:PowerPC -a ppc64 -r standard -v valgrind standard ppc64 valgrind failed standard ppc64 valgrind:client-headers succeeded(unpublished)
yast2-schema-default has missing deps:
osc r openSUSE:Factory:PowerPC -a ppc64 -r standard -v yast2-schema-default standard ppc64 unresolvable: nothing provides SUSEConnect >= 0.2.37 needed by yast2-registration nothing provides rubygem(ruby:2.7.0:suse-connect) >= 0.2.37 needed by yast2-registration
