--- Comment #2 from Felipe Abrahao
The linked bug can only happen in a Wayland session and not on openSUSE (the issue is long fixed in Qt).
Please provide more information.
Application: plasmashell (5.12.2) Qt Version: 5.10 Frameworks Version: 5.43.0 XOrg: Mesa 18.0.0 and xorg-x11-server 1.19.6 Operating System: Linux 4.15.7 -- Information about the crash: - It has happened randomly and rarely. -- Reproducible: - Not specified. -- Possible empirically related issue: - After the crash I have rechecked my all my configurations and when I opened systemsettings5>>Display and Monitor>>Compositor as ~ROOT I saw that there was the message that the openGL has crashed. There was no such alert in systemsettings5>>Display and Monitor>>Compositor when opening it as USER. Also, compositor was set to openGL 2.0 when opening it as ROOT while it was set to openGL 3.1 when opening as USER. ---Troubleshooting trial: -- I have re-enabled openGL in systemsettings5>>Display and Monitor>>Compositor as ROOT and changed the compositor to openGL 3.1 in systemsettings5>>Display and Monitor>>Compositor as ROOT too. The problem didn't occur again for one or two days until now. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
