I have created a Wiki page with "before" and "after" screenshots of the default GRUB2 Menu and modified by my script. https://en.opensuse.org/User:Tsu2/12.3/Modified_GRUB_Menu Particularly a problem for newbies, when troubleshooting boot issues and when a very large number of kernel options are loaded, there is considerable guesswork instructing or finding the correct kernel version or recovery mode. I have created for the Community a script publicized in the Tech Help Forums that configures the menu list options to span 90% of the display width and slightly smaller font so that the entire menu option is visible, plus an appropriate background image so that the logo is out of the way of the wider entries. I recommend this new boot menu should be pushed as soon as possible and the wider width used in future openSUSE Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.
