Hm, I'm talking about uprading Leap 42.1 to 42.2. I thought that this is supposed to be some kind of SLE-like stable. The texlive upgrade breaks my other _original_ 42.1 package. There is an incompatibility issue. Users will also run into such incompatibility issues after upgrading to 42.1. Why was texlive upgraded at all? Was the old one broken?
There are 6000 TeXLive packages
Yes I know it's painful and makes rpm operations as slow as possible.
and you might choose those your package requires to be build. In your case one of the required packages is texlive-metafont (and NOT texlive-metafont-bin), better texlive-metafont-beginners, or to get a basic installation texlive-collection-basic ... installing only texlive is not valid since several years now.
Actually I was not requiring texlive but texlive-dvips only. This worked for all openSUSE versions >12.2 except 42.2. Adding texlive-metafont-bin does not work for me. It works when adding "texlive-metafont" and "texlive-eurosym". So if this is no bug. How should I have made my package two years ago in a way that it would survive this texlive upgrade? How could I have made sure to install the "BIG texlive package" which includes all deps? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
