The real issue you have is that the provided FF does not work for you.. that in itself should be the bug
(process:4474): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_slice_set_config: assertion 'sys_page_size == 0' failed wing@linux-0a7k:~/firefox>
This is a known 'issue' upstream, which only has a cosmetic effect, by printing the error message.
