[Bug 1190414] Laptop randomly went to sleep

B. <sb56637@gmail.com> --- Thanks for reminding me to close this bug. It was actually a bizarre issue with the new laptop hardware design (or lack thereof). Apparently it uses a magnetic sensor in the palm rest to detect if the lid is closed instead of the traditional lid hinge switch. The sleep events were caused by me resting my tablet with its magnetic-closing case against the palm rest just to the right of the trackpad, which triggered the normal Linux sleep-on-lid-close event. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
