Only this value can be used by YaST to find a matching driver. When there is another model value used in the printer description files (PPD files), YaST cannot find a matching driver and all you can do is to manually search for a matching driver. YaST cannot fix such kind of non-matching values. It could only be fixed by those who make the driver with its associated PPDs (here the Gutenprint project) but very likely the Gutenprint driver developers do not know the printer hardware USB model strings of all those Hundreds of models which are supported by the Gutenprint driver so that such kind of non-matching values just happen. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
