Helo Stefan,
Thanks you your help. I checked what is my proper swap partition - and it now works.
the problem with md2 - had its root in either a) small bug in yast that failed to properly mount encrypted partitions I think b) me trying to use raid 0 as swap partition - which yast allows but it does not seem to work
Ok, there are clearly many things to enhance in future versions :-)
Pity that KDE failed to show any log whatsoever ....
.. this is one of them. Also, a "louder" log message would be nice here. I'll work on that for the next versions.

..everything is good!
+ set +x Thu Oct 25 22:42:01 CEST 2007: running thaw hooks.
Thu Oct 25 22:42:05 CEST 2007: done running thaw hooks.
So it now works for you and i'll set this bug to fixed. You should probably report the problem that yast let you configure swap on raid but it then not working, but that's actually a different bug than this one :-) Even though this bug is "fixed", i know that there are many improvements on useability still needed, and i will work on those asap. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
