[Bug 309663] New: KMail doesn't fetch all POP3 accounts
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=309663 Summary: KMail doesn't fetch all POP3 accounts Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Beta 3 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: suse-beta@cboltz.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- I have setup about 25 POP3 accounts in KMail, 20 of them are marked with "include when fetching mail". So KMail should fetch mails from these 20 accounts when clicking the "fetch mail" button. Unfortunately not all accounts are polled, KMail skips some of the later added more or less randomly. It also doesn't fetch them if I tell it to fetch exactly this account (holding down the mouse on the "fetch" button and clicking the account) As a workaround, I re-added an account yesterday and it worked. However, the same account isn't fetched today again. I have checked the kmailrc and did not find a difference between the working and non-working accounts. Sidenote: I verified on the mailserver that KMail does not even try to login to these accounts. I have no idea which information could be helpful for debugging this - please set NEEDINFO as needed ;-) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

try the kdepim3 from above (its still building in case you check right now)
Hmm, I can't find any kdepim3 packages in this directory :-( -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

have you tried 3.5.9? does the problem exist there?
Yes, I have installed 3.5.9 since some time. I think comment #10 is still valid (as in "it works most times, but not always"). However I can't say for sure because I didn't really pay attention on this in the last weeks. I will watch KMail more detailed in the next days and report back then. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
