If I select virtualbox 4.3.26 with software manager yast xfce desktop for installation, the package vboxgtk gets autoselect for installation too. If I now select virtualbox-qt package for installation, package vboxgtk is no longer selected for installation.
Yes. The package virtualbox requires _any_ virtualbox-gui. Both virtualbox-qt and vboxgtk provide virtualbox-gui, this makes it possible to only install one of them. YaST probably picks vboxgtk by default because it comes first alphabetically. If you then select virtualbox-qt manually, vboxgtk is deselected as a virtualbox-gui is going to be installed anyway (i.e. it doesn't have to pick one automatically), so this is expected behaviour. But as I wrote, this will be a non-issue in 13.3 (and is not an issue in Tumbleweed since November), as vboxgtk does not exist at all any more in openSUSE. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
