I have installed chromium-pepper-flash, and with the package installed. After restarting Firefox, go into about://plugins page, it shows no information about Flash plugin being installed in the system. I have an Arch Linux system installed on the other hand, with freshplayer plugin functions properly. I made a copy of the .so file, removed the freshplayer package in my openSUSE system, and put the .so in the plugins directory, with Firefox restarted. Everything works fine, and in about://plugins page it just shows the information about Flash plugin.
