http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=500564 Summary: [Education/anki] Packaging issues with anki Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: 3rd party software AssignedTo: cyberorg@opensuse.org ReportedBy: mcadet@novell.com QAContact: opensuse-communityscreening@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- The package for anki version 0.9.9.7.7 available in the BuildService "Education" project doesn't work correctly on openSUSE 11.0 because not all dependencies are installed after the one click install process. Steps to reproduce: 1. Search for package "anki" on http://software.opensuse.org/search 2. Install the package anki version 0.9.9.7.7 from the BuildService "Education" project 3. Run anki Results: athrun@freedom:~> anki Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/anki", line 18, in <module> import ankiqt File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/ankiqt/__init__.py", line 5, in <module> from PyQt4.QtCore import * ImportError: No module named PyQt4.QtCore To fix this issue I had to manually install: - python-qt4-4.4.4-9.1 - libqt4-4.4.3-13.2 - libQtWebKit4-4.4.3-15.1 Note: Those versions were found on the BuildService. The versions included in openSUSE 11.0 seem to be too old for anki. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
