Using Plasma with scaling 1.5 (i.e. 144 DPI). However, the same font looks fine in Libreoffice. In Firefox Nightly, I'm able to verify that the font is indeed Bitstream Charter, as changing it to Bitstream Vera Serif (in its style editor) fixes it.
