When I receive the signed message however, it is unable to verify the key and just shows that the message has an attachment (detached OpenPGP signature attachment (signature.asc)). If I encrypt and sign the message, I can click on the encrypted message (as an attachment), enter my passphrase, and view the original message (albeit with formatting errors and legacy MIME junk somehow thrown in). If I only ecnrypt the message I can receive it an open it just fine (as an encrypted attachment). This would seem to be a large regression as evolution used to work very well with inline/attached gpg signatures and had more transparent support for encryption/signing messages and receiving them.
