Generally I can only state that the information in y2logs is _not_ for public purposes and I cannot accept providing information like hostnames, IP-Addresses, netmasks, name- and proxy servers and so on and so forth to the public. I have seen an issue with a Novell product, I am willing to help tracking it down - but nobody can expect me to open things like this to the public. The next step would be to attach /etc/passwd and /etc/groups somewhere in y2logs. So, if you (and this one goes to Novell in general) want to be supported, you need to be more specific, otherwise I will stop putting work into something that tries to get access to private information from my side. Most people do not see a problem with posting that information in y2logs. Anyway, I suggest that you use a program to replace the sensitive strings with "CENSORED" or the like in the logs before attaching them. But for this specific bug, the logs that we would need are from the canceled installation attempt and unless you knew to save them, they are gone now.
