I did not realize that I had turned off the wireless with the hardware switch. The system locked up without printing any messages. I repeated booting and locking up the system until I found the wireless switch off. Use hardware switch to turn off wireless 2. Start using the radio. I used wpa_supplicant 3. Hard kernel lockup. I have problem like this. Hardware: Acer 5741g (Core i5, Radeon HD 5000 series, Wi-Fi - ***Broadcom BCM43225***) When I'm turning off radio by Fn-key, or by NetworkManager applet, or by removing Wi-Fi driver module (by rmmod) notebook periodically falling to hard freeze.
