Restarting X with Ctrl-Alt-Backspace helps in most cases but sometimes I have to switch off the computer as it totally freezes. The problem was also reported by someone else in this opensuse forum thread: http://forums.opensuse.org/applications/403787-crash-when-pressing-alt-tab.h...
