There I disabled all but "present windows" (because that's the only effect I really like.) Then I hit 'Apply' and 'accept configuration' My screen went black and that's the way it stayed. I restarted, get through the login screen but cannot see my desktop any more, just a black screen with the mouse indicator. So I created a new user to reproduce this bug and I could reproduce it easily (did this twice). Other users and root still have their desktop when they login, only I have lost everything really, because their's not much I can do without desktop.
