And it looks like they made an attempt to fix that too but it is not working: During the install the menus ask this: Enter your search domains, separated by a space:

austin.ibm.com

I entered my domain austin.ibm.com as shown.. and I got this answer: *** Each domain must be a valid IP address. so I then entered the ip for austin.ibm.com 9.41.248.176. then after the install the /etc/hosts file had this: search 9.41.248.176 nameserver 9.0.7.1 but when you try to ping systems without their full name the lookup fails.
