[Bug 425255] New: Check package repositories for KDE 3.5.10
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=425255 Summary: Check package repositories for KDE 3.5.10 Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: BuildService AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: Markus.Elfring@web.de QAContact: adrian@novell.com Found By: --- Created an attachment (id=238933) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=238933) solver test case I wonder about the following messages for my software update try. Sonne:~ # zypper up -t package kdebase3* Reading installed packages... No update candidate for 'kdebase3-SuSE-branding-openSUSE'. 4 Problems: Problem: nothing provides requested kdebase3 > 3.5.10-95.2 Problem: nothing provides requested kdebase3-devel > 3.5.10-95.1 Problem: nothing provides requested kdebase3-runtime > 3.5.10-95.1 Problem: kde4-kio_sysinfo-11.0-74.23.x86_64 requires libhd.so.13()(64bit), but this requirement cannot be provided Problem: nothing provides requested kdebase3 > 3.5.10-95.2 Have you enabled all requested repositories ? Solution 1: do not ask to install a solvable providing kdebase3 > 3.5.10-95.2 Choose the above solution using '1' or skip, retry or cancel [1/s/r/C]: c I expect that the required installation sources are completely configured on my system. http://en.opensuse.org/KDE/Repositories#KDE_3.5.x I find it also a bit strange that a dependency on the package "hwinfo" (which provides "libhd") triggers a resolution search for a KDE4 component.
