I made LibreOffice already to launch deleting .lock. However, in my previous attempts, when I asked it to launch in despite to the warning of another instance running (to launch anyway), the warn box reappeared and frozen, so I had to kill it. Now (I do not know why, but I erased .lock, lastsynchronized, reinstalled my previous $HOME/.libreoffice/ which I moved as $HOME/libreoffice/ to check if an empty configuration would work, erased .lock) LibreOffice is running, although the $HOME/.libreoffice/3-suse/user/extensions/bundled/lastsynchronized is as before: 0 bytes long, etc. Sorry, but although it is odd, perhaps it worthed to be known. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Please, what do you exactly mean with always? Does it mean that you updated once and it always crashed until you got it somehow working? Or does it mean that you tried the update on more systems and you saw the problem on all systems? Are you able to reproduce the problem again? I am afraid that we can't do much if we are not able to reproduce it and do not have any backtrace or strace logs. My theory is that you were running libreoffice during the update and it got somehow mad because it lost the old files, ... This is a generic problem and might happen with any application. No LibreOffice last run crashed, or any abnormality, or anomaly. In fact, in despite of some oddities LibreOffice had, it is remarkable that the unstable LibreOffice were more stable than the stable OOo, from my experience with OOo since 11.2. what I tried to explain before: The issue arises when, after the upgrade, the user launch the new 3.3.2.2-30.2 without the configuration files from 3.3.2.2-29.1 being disturbed. So, 3.3.2.2-30.2 complaints. After removing the above mentioned files, I have got a running 3.3.2.2-30.2. So far, it behaves well. What do I mean with "always, but related to the upgrade"? Well, it is one more of those statements in which my English skill are threatened. I meant that this issue always happens while using the original 3.3.2.2-29.1 configuration directory, that is accessed by 3.3.2.2-30.2 in its first run. I do not know whether my answer satisfied or clarify my previous comments. Topic 1: I do not see the warning any longer with newer packages. I have no longer the original config files.
