I don't see any updates for suse 10.3. I have not tried it with the latest untainted kernel if that is what you mean only linux-2.6.23.1. That version also "crashes". Do you want me to try 2.6.23.9? I haven't noticed any excessive crashing lately. I think there is less crashing with this version, but I have submitted a bug report on this latest version. I suspect a bad motherboard design and I am not using pata_amd.
