[Bug 678127] New: X.org crashes with dual monitor (side by side) setup
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=678127 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=678127#c0 Summary: X.org crashes with dual monitor (side by side) setup Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: bnc-team-xorg-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: hasso@hot.ee QAContact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US) AppleWebKit/534.13 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/9.0.597.107 Safari/534.13 11.4 X.org crashes 100% while launching xterm with dualmonitor setup (side by side). 11.3 worked fine and note that it doesn't seem to be related with specific hardware - I tried to switch to nvidia hardware with nouveau (normally using radeon) and the same happens. Xterm is just one way to reproduce the problem, the same happens with other programs, but not always. Gnome terminal for example seem to work fine though. There is also no problem if I switch one of monitors off. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch X with dual monitor setup. 2. Start xterm. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
