I saw bug #266215, it seems like dhclient problem. I guess my problem is not on dhclient. My command history: 504 iwlist wlan0 scan 505 iwlist wlan0 essid Novell_TW_B 506 iwconfig wlan0 essid Novell_TW_B 507 iwconfig wlan0 mode Managed 508 iwconfig wlan0 key restricted gteam 509 iwconfig wlan0 key restricted s:gteam 510 iwconfig wlan0 And, I use dhcpcd-test to test wlan0 and nothing reply. I can connect to many other APs but only not on this Avaya AP. I have two same hardware T41p on my desktop, one is SLED10SP1 now and another is openSUSE 11. I tried to connect to the AP from the NetworkManager, it shows me 'Missing or invalid key management' fron NM log. Then I tried again using iwconfig, it won't work too. I tred the same steps on my SLED10 SP1 both NM and iwconfig, it works! Of course I am sure that the key is right. I uploaded the NM log on attachment, would you please help me to check if something worng? That's why iwconfig does not show the key anymore. The dmesg shows a successful authentication and association. However the 802.11 standard does not specify a way to check if the encryption key is correct (WEP only). The only noticeable effect is that no traffic can be transmitted (that's the reason for NMs behavior). And why the key works on my SLED?

SLED shipped with a different driver (madwifi). 11.0 uses ath5k. Maybe that's the reason. To verify that, could you please try if the madwifi driver shows the same issues?
