http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=606240 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=606240#c0 Summary: mono-devel 2.6.4 lies about it's requirements Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Mono AssignedTo: bnc-team-mono@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: dominique.leuenberger@tmf-group.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Since mono 2.6.4 got checked in, mono.pc lies about it's requirements. For 'SLE' reasons, the Requires: line is being patched out of the .pc file, which in turn makes applications like pidgin fail on finding various headers (build failures due to missing -I statements). Output of pkg-config --cflags mono before 'breaking: $> pkg-config --cflags mono -D_REENTRANT -pthread -I/usr/lib64/pkgconfig/../../include/mono-1.0 -I/usr/include/glib-2.0 -I/usr/lib64/glib-2.0/include $> rpm -q mono-devel mono-devel-2.6.3-4.1.x86_64 After breaking: $> pkg-config --cflags mono -D_REENTRANT -I/usr/lib64/pkgconfig/../../include/mono-1.0 As mentioned, pidgin as one example fails for exactly that reason in openSUSE:Factory at the moment (jit.h can't be found due to missing glib.h includes...) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
