The hardware attached on the FC controller is a HP EVA 4400. I have attached a screenshot of the console (sorry, those messages are not logged anywere in text format). This is marked as a duplicate of 591399, but that report is apparently not publicly available. Can we reopen this public bug until the problem is actually resolved? To get multipathd to recognize new devices automaticaly we downgraded to multipath-tools-0.4.8-44.45.1.x86_64.rpm that come with OpenSuSE 11.2.
