At installation Time the values where set to language=german, keyboard=german(swiss), Timezone=Zurich, NO automatic login. After boot YAST shows the correct values, but they are not effective. New setting with YAST makes the values effective, but only within thh session. Seems, that boot has another parameter list than the one YAST writes. System: openSuse 13.1 DVD-64, with all updates, Haswell with built-in graphic, UEFI secure boot, multiboot W8.1, ubuntu12.04, openSuse 13.1 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. boot 2. 3. Actual Results: wrong keyboard layout, wrong language, wrong timezone, automatic login instaed of manual login Expected Results: boot with keyboard-layout, language, timezone and MANUAL login, as stated during DVD-installation and (many) times with YAST after boot. Can't believe it happens only to me.
