[Bug 802603] New: gnome 3 lacks a weather applet
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=802603 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=802603#c0 Summary: gnome 3 lacks a weather applet Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.3 Version: RC 1 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: ohering@suse.com QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: Outsourced Testing Blocker: --- 12.3rc1 in a hyper-v guest with gnome desktop. In 11.4 it was easy to add and run a weather applet. GNOME3 as included in openSuSE 12.X seems to lack that functionality. Neither yast2 search nor clicking around in the GNOME GUI shows anything that looks like it can provide the GNOME2 functionality. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

There is currently work in progress to get an extension published on extensions.gnome.org (which shows the real power of gnome3). In the mean time, all that's available is documented at http://worldofgnome.org/weather-extension-is-now-available-for-gnome-shell-3... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
