https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1219251 https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1219251#c1 --- Comment #1 from Philippe Condé <conde.philippe@skynet.be> --- Adding phonon4qt5-backend-gstreamer taken form http://download.opensuse.org/history/20240104/tumbleweed/repo/oss/x86_64/ solves the problem I think that for some reason it was removed by snapshot 20240124 but it is required by amarok. In the list of amarok requirements I see libphonon4qt5.so.4()(64bit) but not this backend. Can you have a check? https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1219251 https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1219251#c2 --- Comment #2 from Philippe Condé <conde.philippe@skynet.be> --- following advice on opensuse forum (see https://forums.opensuse.org/t/no-more-sound-after-snapshot-20240124/171968/1...) I removed package phonon4qt5-backend-gstreamer and installed phonon4qt5-backend-vlc. This solves all sound problems that I had. Now can this package be set as a requirement for amarok + Xorg?
