http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=470341 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=470341#c78 --- Comment #78 from andreas bittner 2009-11-24 17:34:44 UTC --- update with 11.1 and this board with hd3200 chipset: with the minmal xorg.conf and the UseAtomBIOS enable line things get fixed. now i can boot with my kvm attached and either having activated the switchport for the suse machine or having it deactivated (switched to a different machine), no matter, in both scenarios the Xserver brings up the pixels and outputs data to my screen. from init 3 and the minmal xorg.conf (with atombios enabled) and X -logverbose i receive the fully real native resolution of 1680x1050@60Hz in both scenarios (with kvm, kvmswitchport active/nonactive during booting). also see my other bugreport for the hd4200 mainboard and compare to the logs posted there bugreport #558054 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=558054 i will now upload the logverbose logs of this last scenario with the atombios enabled with both switchport active switchport nonactive during boot for further analysis. i can then start testing opensuse 11.2 again on both mainboards to see whats happening there. thanks and regards. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
