My xmodmaprc file is the following: keycode 176 = XF86AudioRaiseVolume keycode 174 = XF86AudioLowerVolume keycode 160 = XF86AudioMute keycode 162 = XF86AudioPlay keycode 164 = XF86AudioStop keycode 144 = XF86AudioPrev keycode 153 = XF86AudioNext keycode 129 = XF86AudioMedia I have a script in ~/.kde4/Autostart to load these settings. (xmodmap ~/lenovo.xmodmaprc) If I suspend or hibernate my desktop, these mappings will be lost. Until I re-run manually the script (or logout-login, naturally), these keys don't works.
