As a consequence every YUM user has to write his own repo files for the main repositories like openSUSE base, openSUSE update, openSUSE nonoss and so on. It's difficult to find good maintained openSUSE repo files in the web. Especially it's a time-consuming process to find and test openSUSE mirrors for the YUM repositories. It would be nice, if openSUSE comes with a set of preconfigured YUM repo files with mirror lists. The mirror lists could be maintained on a webserver.
