This can affect other applications, but I like not to touch that. "Updating" doesn't solve the problem, probably because new settings, without any shortcuts, KDE 4.2.2 rel. 114 KMail 1.11.2 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to Settings drop down menu 2. press Reset to Defaults 3. done Actual Results: All shortcuts are gone, for KMail. Not tested for other applications. The only difference is that new user is using default mail storage directory, while regular (with bug) is using $HOME/Mail/kmail . It smells on some path hardcoded in binary, and some other that looks for path in kmailrc.
