[Bug 212381] New: kdebase3-SuSE contains create_package_descr
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=212381 Summary: kdebase3-SuSE contains create_package_descr Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Alpha 5 Platform: All OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: lrupp@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de I've created a new RPM named "inst-source-utils" which will always contain the newest create_package_descr script from autoyast. So shipping the same script with two RPMs and different locations on an installed system shouldn't be necessary any more. create_package_descr will be placed in /usr/bin (as it is already since ages in autoyast-utils) now. I also don't understand why kdebase3-SuSE contains all these files in /opt/kde3/share/apps/krpmview . Why is this directory necessary for a package containing "the standard SUSE desktop and menu extensions for the Kpanel"? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=212381 ------- Comment #1 from stbinner@suse.de 2006-10-16 06:12 MST ------- I guess it was used in 10.0 by the meanwhile dropped /opt/kde3/share/apps/krpmview/setup_temp_source and hence we can drop all of /opt/kde3/share/apps/krpmview. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
