This is not only not MAJOR, it's a feature request. Do not misuse the bug severity for more attention!

And snapshots are only loosely related to partitioning; this is mostly about a snapper configuration.

No intention of using for attention, but due to user impact, as it causes a particular function to be disabled, and there seems to be no clear indication of this in the instructions, and the UI layout as it is currently does not help noticing either. So it is very easily assumed by a user that snapshots are enabled by default, and the missing checkmark in easily left unnoticed.
