https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=709247 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=709247#c4 --- Comment #4 from melchiaros melchiaros <melchiaros@aol.com> 2011-12-05 10:56:20 UTC --- Seems I have forgotten. But as you described your problem in your personal mail it sounds like that you should anyway open new tickets for them. -> This here was on a earlier development phase of openSUSE12.1 (between MS4 and MS5 I think), so I am pretty sure the code has changes in time. Also the basic functionality was affected here. In your case it´s about system destabilizing with new software that get on top of the basic desktop systems. For your new tickets it would be helpful, when you can point on what software breaks the system integrity. -> I know very difficult to say often. Also look for session logs. For KDE it would be kdm logfile in /var/log/ . For other desktops I do not know. -> In best ask in the desktop communities or try it here in the openSUSE ICQ channels. Greetings and good luck(may be wou would try it with btfs and snapper. So you can set your system back to a state where it is runnable. Start your system in shell mode after impossible desktop login, yast2 is able to run from command line in text mode.) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
