[Bug 197522] link to (old) sources is non-obvious
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=197522 ------- Comment #17 from andreas.hanke@gmx-topmail.de 2007-02-15 07:10 MST ------- Of course SL-10.1 offers sources! http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/SL-10.1/inst-source/suse/src/ Is it really not possible to just go a few directories up and down on the FTP? OK, how many levels of old releases should be kept for how long, and why would you expect getting there starting from http://www.novell.com/de-de/linux/? Anyway, on http://www.novell.com/de-de/linux/, in the right coloumn at the bottom there is a link to http://www.opensuse.org/ (labeled openSUSE Project). There, on http://www.opensuse.org/, you can choose your language and then in the left coloumn get to the downloads. There, on http://en.opensuse.org/Download, we should add a link named "Sources" to an additional page that has links directly into the src/ directory of every openSUSE distribution that has ever been released, and where links to old versions are not removed when a new version is released. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
