The curl snippet is alarming though. Would you mind running curl again, using the snippet below? For whatever reason that is failing. What kind of connection are you on? time curl --connect-timeout 5 http://opensuse.org/ Also, if it opened immediately to the web page you made the screenshot of, then that is the correct behavior. Essentially all I am concerned with right now is opensuse-codecs-installer taking you to that page. Currently there isn't any helpful information there, but we will fill that in later in the 10.3 cycle.
