After which I am presented with a standard user login screen. I click on the user and the screen switches to a password prompt that immediately fails, goes to a gray screen, and doesn't let me authenticate. It really happens with gdm only, and it is not VNC issue. The gdm has the same problem when serving any secondary sessions initiated over XDMCP: The same issue happens when starting regular X server on another machine with "-query <address of the first machine>" parameter. Same exact results both times. I am prompted for my administrator password, am presented with a login screen.
