I selected "Japanese" in linuxrc. Then, at the screen where one can select the language, I selected *all* languages one after the other. This should trigger the downloading of the extras needed for these languages, i.e. fonts and/or translations. For most languages this works but for Chinese neither the fonts nor the translations are downloaded and copied into instsys. That the fonts for Chinese are missing bug #431280. But why are the Chinese translations not copied into instsys? The Chinese fonts uming.ttf has been loaded into instsys when selecting Chinese, the Japanese font was *not* loaded when selecting Japanese (see bug#431280). Is the copying of translations into instsys somehow connected to copying fonts or not?
