But it is too small for for updating the kernel . The present state is as follows. Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on /dev/sda1 154691 108188 38516 74% /boot rpm -qa 'kernel-desktop' kernel-desktop-3.7.10-1.16.1.x86_64 kernel-desktop-3.7.10-1.11.1.x86_64 Disk storage capacity runs short in update of the next kernel . In the past, disk storage capacity actually ran short by update of the kernel . The /boot partition is more than 256 M byte required. (ex: 1 G byte) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run Installer to "Suggested Partitioning" 2. Select "Create LVM Based Proposal" Actual Results: Installer suggested "Create boot volume /dev/sda1 (156.88 MB)" . Expected Results: Installer suggests 1 G byte for /boot.
