According to rpm permissions should be 750:
rpm -q --dump postfix | grep /var/lib/postfix /var/lib/postfix 48 1212801552 00000000000000000000000000000000 040750 postfix root 0 0 0 X
However in reality the permissions are 700:
ls -ld /var/lib/postfix/ drwx------ 2 postfix root 4096 2008-06-06 21:19 /var/lib/postfix/
