Stefan -
AFAIK the kernel should be able to handle the failed allocations. The looping Execbuf while wedged messages may be caused by this bug: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=25475#c88
Can you take a look and see if we need that?
Yes, I believe that the above libdrm patch should help here. But I also believe there are more issues with KMS support for intel on openSUSE 11.2. Probably it's better to update the whole X stack from 11.3,i.e. xf86-video-intel, xorg-server, libdrm, Mesa (+ dependancies) and at least the Kernel for SLE11-SP1 to get a stable intel driver with KMS support running on openSUSE 11.2 (this is what I'm currently doing). Maybe it's better not to use KMS on openSUSE 11.2. It's not our default anyway. Hope this helps. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
