I am using the ati fglrx driver. the t60 has an ati mobility radeon x1400 (m54 7145) card with a display resolution of 1400x1050 (sxga+). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.create a directory filled with jpeg images. 2.browse that with konqueror -> view -> view mode ->Image View 3.click around a bunch of times (10 or more), scroll the icons up and down. 4.wait a couple of minutes. Actual Results: the X11 server will crash, logging you off. The kernel does not crash. Expected Results: the X11 server should not crash. I have tried this with several different directories of different jpeg files. it happens with any of the directories, i.e it does not appear to be a problem with any particular jpeg file or directory. Also, it never crashes with the non proprietary driver. The crash does not actually happen while i am scrolling around or clicking on pictures, it happens a couple of minutes after i stop doing these operations. (as if the server decided that it was a quiet time to go clean things up and that process went bad.)
