It took me several hours of searching befor I found why my postfix hangs under increasing load. The default configuration of the package should be raised to a more useful value. The value 2 might be very secure, but not usefull. The target of the "box" products like 10.1 and openSUSE are the single workstation. In this case is the value 2 enough.
