Why should this be a nouveau bug if the machine boots fine with same nouveau and older kernel?
Which "same nouveau" would that be? # locate nouveau /usr/lib/modules/6.0.12-1-default/kernel/drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau /usr/lib/modules/6.0.12-1-default/kernel/drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau/nouveau.ko.zst /usr/lib/modules/6.1.12-1-default/kernel/drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau /usr/lib/modules/6.1.12-1-default/kernel/drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau/nouveau.ko.zst /usr/lib/modules/6.2.6-1-default/kernel/drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau /usr/lib/modules/6.2.6-1-default/kernel/drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau/nouveau.ko.zst /usr/lib64/libdrm_nouveau.so.2 /usr/lib64/libdrm_nouveau.so.2.0.0 /usr/lib64/dri/nouveau_dri.so /usr/lib64/dri/nouveau_drv_video.so /usr/lib64/gallium-pipe/pipe_nouveau.so # Each kernel provides it's own specific kernel device module, and then there are the userspace nouveaus. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Could you try to uninstall Mesa-dri-nouveau package and retest? This seems to be a culprit of the freeze with the recent kernels.
see https://forums.opensuse.org/t/no-boot-with-kernel-6-2/164791/19 already removed, didn't help... :-( -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
