I just found that vorbisgain does not support -r option. Quote from manual: -r, --recursive Enter directories (recursively) and search for files, if directories or file patterns are specified. Note: Only available if vorbisgain was configured with --enable-recursive. So, it looks like vorbisgain was configured without --enable-recursive option. But it'll be quite convenient to have such feature as recursive vorbisgain scan. If it's possible to build vorbisgain with this option it'll very helpful. The version of vorbisgain in the development repository multimedia:apps does support the -r option. http://software.opensuse.org/package/vorbisgain?search_term=vorbisgain
As a workaround exists and this is not really a bug I would prefer not filing a merge request towards 12.2. In case you feel strongly about it I can however try to get it in.

Hello, Matthias. Yes, I know that it is not a bug, but I just didn't find out where should I post such kind of proposal. I've updated to openSUSE 12.3 and things seem to be ok here.
