First of all, Russia is not in Asia, german mirrors are closer, and, there is a russian mirror on ftp.yandex.ru. We could override it in fact. However, I set up a build service mirror at yandex.ru last week, together with somebody from the region, so the problem might actually be solved already. You opened this report at the 21st, and we were working on the mirror on the 23rd to 25th. Could you recheck if you get correctly assigned to yandex by now? And if not, it would be most helpful to know for _which_ files you are sent to the Taiwanese mirror. From now, it points me to yandex.net, so I think, the problem solved.
